I'm New

Welcome

Lighthouse Ministries of The Apostolic Faith is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. We look forward to you joining us for one of our services!

Below is some information you might find helpful when planning a visit.

Parking

We have limited street parking available on Poplar, however there is a parking lot located behind the church. To access the parking lot, make your way to Church Alley which is located south of Poplar Street, accessible from either Taylor and LaFayette Avenues.

When You Arrive

When you first arrive, you’ll be greeted by one of our greeters. If it’s your first time to visit, they will ask you to fill out a connection card so that we can have a record of your attendance. We really are glad when someone takes the time to visit, and our pastor would like to give you a gift and also send you a letter thanking you for attending Lighthouse Ministries of The Apostolic Faith.

Our Services

Our services are filled with vibrant worship. We clap our hands, lift our hands, sing aloud, and offer heartfelt expressions of worship. Please feel free to worship God in ways in which you are comfortable. Also, feel free to sit where you like. There are no assigned seats here.

On Sunday we begin Sunday School at 10:30, which will go for one hour. It is followed by our worship service which between worship and preaching tends to be about 1.5 hours.

Nursery

Our nursery is available during our services for children up to thirty-six months. The nursery is located to the back-left of our foyer, behind the stair case that leads to our Sunday School rooms. One of the greeters will be happy to direct you to it.  Also, our services are fed to the nursery so that no one feels left out if they need to step out with their little ones.

What To Wear?

Many people aren’t sure what to wear when they visit. We want you to be comfortable when you visit, so wear what you’re comfortable wearing. When you’re at one of our services, you’ll see a range of styles from jeans to suits. Casual or “Sunday best” . . .  You will notice that our ministry and leaders dress in a more business manner, but outside of that, you’re free to be comfortable.
